- International: fluency in English
- Immunisation for Hepatitis A + B

Procedures to follow: - Individuals expressing interest in volunteering are asked to contact the Mohau manager on 012 318 6762 or via email
- Orientation sessions for prospective volunteers are held twice a year, or more or less often depending on the need and offer.
- In some cases the manager or social workers may do the orientation of a prospective volunteer individually. This would normally happen if the person offers an especially needed service or on referral by or recommendation of an existing volunteer.
- After the orientation prospective volunteers should be given the opportunity to decide whether what they have to offer in terms of skills, time and commitment, match the needs of the organisation.
- Depending again on the needs of the organisation at the time, allocation to a specific project or service is done and only at that point a volunteer application form, and oath of confidentiality is completed.
